Dragon Fruit
Red skin — white and red flesh
Dragon fruit — pitaya — from Indian orchards, red-skinned with white or red flesh, harvested at full colour with the bracts green and intact and pre-cooled the same day. The harvest window is fixed per orchard from the flowering date, which is what gives the fruit its transit life.

Classification
Harvest timing is the whole craft of this fruit, and we set it from the flowering record rather than by eye — fruit picked in its window arrives firm, coloured and sweet. Import protocols for dragon fruit are still developing in several markets; we confirm the current requirement for your destination in writing before we quote.
The values above are the parameters we quote against and have verified at the load port. Where your own requirement is tighter, yours governs and we quote to it.
